Needham Boddie is a patent attorney in the firm Myers Bigel Sibley & Sajovec. Needham received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University, his Masters Degree in Business Administration from Wake Forest University, and his Juris Doctor Degree (cum laude) from Wake Forest University. Prior to his legal career, Needham gained more than ten years’ experience as a design engineer with Duke Power Company, and two years as a Litigation Support Manager in the Legal Department of Duke Power Company; he is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of North Carolina and a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Needham is experienced in patent prosecution in mechanical engineering and computer technologies, and in copyright law, and has a particular focus on intellectual property law as it relates to the internet and computer technologies. Needham is a member of the North Carolina Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
